Excellent food and great service. I ordered the stuffed shrimp which was delicious. Fresh wild caught (I was told) shrimp. My husband liked the grilled chicken over a house salad.

The food was fantastic with great service to match. My wife and I both had the clam chowder and it was excellent. I had the shrimp platter and she had the lobster roll. Since she's from Maine, she's very critical of any "lobster" entre. She said it was the real deal. We ended by splitting a slice of key lime pie. It was delicious as well.

I've always considered BeachHouse my favorite, but I have to say--Sandbar has truly stepped up. Their menu is by far the best compared to BeachHouse and Mar Vista. And while the breathtaking sunset view is a highlight, what really sets Sandbar apart is their long-standing tradition of the sunset timer. They're the only restaurant that has continued this tradition over the years: if you're dining outside, you get the chance to guess the exact sunset time, and the closest table wins a reward. It's a special experience that my grandparents and family have cherished for the past 27 years, making every visit unforgettable. Also, Jamie has our waitress tonight, she was phenomenal! Thank you for treating my grandparents with the utmost respect, they really appreciated it.

Explored Anna Maria Island because we were craving some good key lime pie, and it did not disappoint! We had a late lunch and wanted to be near the beach, grab a drink, and enjoy dessert. I can't say much about the food but definitely come here for the view, watch the sunset, and treat yourself to some key lime pie for dessert.

We stopped for drinks and the great view of the sunset. Terrific outside space and right on the beach. They have valet parking which is real important here!

Nice little local hangout spot if you're looking to grab a quick bite to eat in the middle of the day. Their drinks are neat as you can get a "bucket" to split between two people. Server was friendly & the food came out timely. Came here on two occasions during our vacation but didn't make it for a dinner time. Out of everything we tried the Key Lime Pie was hands down my favorite. It's made on site and you can tell. One of the better desserts I tried while we ate our way around the island. Will be returning the next time we visit AMI!

We hadn't been here since before Covid, and so glad we were able to return. Love being able to sit outside on the patio enjoying yummy drinks and food. Jaylyne was our server and took great care of us. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and we loved the beet salad and octopus.

Haven't been here I a very long time. So nice out and wanted to take in some sunshine so we took the 45 minute ride from St Pete to grab a lunch on the beach. Being right on the beach you can't beat it for that. They are doing some upgradeding but still the same inside. They appear to be valet only now too but I think that is good thing. Parking everywhere on this part of the island is tough. We started with some clam chowder. Pretty tasty. Really thick and lots of clams. Delicious. For my main I got the fish sandwich. Mahi mahi. Blackened. Cooked really well. I would have liked more blackening seasoning but the sandwich was really good. Tartar sauce tasted homemade. Deb had the raviolis with shredded pork. This was the chefs special. Awesome red sauce that had incredible flavors. Really good. Overall I fell like the food is much better than the last few times we have been here. Usually the views are what you come here. Service was great and we didn't wait very long for anything.

Great service! Food is delicious. The ever popular Brussel Sprouts are tasty. Drinks are dangerous (and so good!) Great views...can't be beat. Love the valet- no parking issues. A great day on the beach- with a drink and some food.
